The most valuable gift of all is the gift of reading. Being gifted, we read. Every day, every hour, every minute... Following the course of our busy life, reading whatever we catch a glimpse of, we sometimes forget what it was like to cuddle up on a sofa, on a rainy day, with a nice cup of coffee and a book with a promising title, and lose yourself in the magical world of reading...
Still, the greatest paradox lies in the fact that all the real and surreal, all the natural and supernatural, everything that we find so intoxicating and out of this world, all that is but a work of ordinary people! The most extraordinary one, and one of my favorites, is the writer who was praised and denied, admired and dishonored, the one who lived up to his literary death, but could not see his literary rebirth.
